Teresa is amazing! This was my second appointment with her and after the first went so well, I trusted her with the biggest change I’ve made to my hair. Ive always had a very simple and consistent hairstyle growing up and am not one to venture far from what I know but she gave me bangs and a new part and I couldn’t love it more. She’s super meticulous and prioritizes my comfort which I love! Also takes the time to teach me things about my hair and how to style it. I’ve always been a nervous salon person. I find it never turns out how I imagined it would. Since moving to NS almost 3 years ago, I haven’t gone to the salon to avoid the stress. But alas, my hair was too long and I needed a change. Nova was recommended and I took the plunge. Her confidence from the onset was very comforting. She was excited to do a big transformation and I was excited for a change. I ended up with exactly what I wanted and beyond what I expected. My greys are well blended, the highlights are beautiful (colour, placement, thickness) and I can tell it will grow out beautifully keeping maintenance low. Bonus was that I got to bring my little dog Gordo :) definitely will return and recommend.

1000% worth the 1.5-2 hour drive to come see Nova ❤️ she did a wonderful job with the color, very knowledgeable on the products and gave great advice! My hair has never been this smoothe! Excited to try the new products but even more excited to come back!

I saw Jenn yesterday for highlights and she did an amazing job. I have light brown hair and it can be hard to get the right shade of blonde that isn\'t brassy. She nailed it. I also like how she asks lots of questions to confirm she understands what you want. She also provides little tips on styling my hair at home that are so helpful. She is highly skilled - but also makes the experience so enjoyable with her warmth and sincerity.

Jenn is so kind and such a breath of fresh air. Love the salon, atmosphere, location, kindness of the staff, and just overall service!

Walking into LOX is like walking onto the beach. It’s my refuge. Seeing Lauren and her team is always such a pleasure and I always feel completely taken care of. After trying many places over the years and a lot of disappointment my friend suggested Jenn to me and I had a wonderful experience! She did an amazing job getting my curly hair blonde beautiful and bright and just an all round great job on my balayage! On top of being a very talented stylist Jenn is extremely professional and friendly constantly communicating with me during the service to make sure everything was going well and I was 100% satisfied. They carry wonderful products great for anyone following CGM or just trying to stay away from sulphates silicones and other harsh ingredients. Jenn is very knowledgeable about hair and was gentle on my curls. The new shop is fresh and calm a perfect spot for a relaxing day with great women :)
